Grigor Dimitrov would remember this spectacular match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of the second round of the Championships in London. Dimitrov lost the match with a result of 7-6(4) 4-6 4-6 6-7(8) but proved that he deserves to be among the top tennis players. In the match that lasted 3 hours and 33 minutes and that was suspended several times because of rain Dimitrov and Tsonga presented a beautiful performance.
For his participation in the singles tournament Grigor Dimitrov gained 45 points which would position him at about No 60. Grigor would also take 22'600 EUR of the prize money of the tournament.
The next tournament where Dimitrov applied for participation is the grass tournament in New Port, Rhode Island, USA, which will held during the week of 4 July.
Dimitrov continues his participation at Wimbledon in the doubles tournament.
