In the second round of the qualifications of the 100K USD ATP Challenger in Israel Grigor Dimitrov defeated the local player Noam Behr in three sets 3-6 6-3 6-2. In the third round Grigor Dimitrov will play 18-years-old non-ranked Gal Hakak (Israel) to decide the main draw entrant. As seen from the published main draw the possible first round opponent would be Seed 1 Dudi Sela (Israel), Seed 7 Marsel Ilhan (Turkey), Seed 6 Harel Levy (Israel) or Denis Gremelmayr (Germany).
