In his first men's participation at Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam tournament of the year in Paris, France, Grigor Dimitrov will start in the opening round against Jeremy Chardy. The 24-years-old Frenchman is currently No 55 in the ATP singles ranking. This will be the 5th Roland Garros participation for Chardy his best one so far being the reaching of 4th round in 2008. Last year he lost in the first round. ATP level win-loss score of Chardy this year is 4-9.
No 1 Rafael Nadal of Spain will start against a tough opponent John Isner of USA. Noval Djokovic, No 2, Serbia, leading the other half of the draw should not expect any troubles against the Dutch Thiemo de Bakker. No 3 Federer is at the Djokovic part of the draw and will start against Feliciano Lopez. Andy Murray, Seed 4, will play the Frenchman Eric Prodon in the first round.
