From Monday on Grigor Dimitrov will participate at the ATP 250 tournament in the Thai capital Bangkok. Last autumn Dimitrov won 2 subsequent ATP challengers in Bangkok whichhelpedhim to progress in the ATP ranking. This year the young Bulgarian comes back to PTT Thailand Open, ATP 250 level tournament with prize money of$551'000.
In the first round Grigor Dimitrov will play Seed 5 and world No 37 Ivan Dodig of Croatia. 2011 is the best year for the 26-years-old Croat who succeeded to reach No 33 on 22 September ranking. Dodig won his first ATP tournament title - Zagreb, he reached the final in Hertogenbosch and the semi-final in Barcelona.
The draw is lead by Andy Murray, No 4, with Gilles Simon, No 11, Ivan Dodig, No 37, and Fabio Fognini, No 39 as seeded players in the upper part. Seed 2 is Gael Monfils, No 8, who could meet before the final the seeded players Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, No 35, Robin Haase, No 42, and Pablo Andujar, No 43.
