Grigor Dimitrov Moves Up to ATP Rank 372

Despite the subsequent first-round losses in the past several tournaments Grigor Dimitrov moves 8 positions ahead in the ATP ranking published on 11 May 2009. This way he is at his best ever position - 372.

The best Bulgarian tennis player is followed by Ivaylo Traykov at position 443 and Tihomir Grozdanov - at 591 who both moved ahead compared to last week.

Rafael Nadal (Spain) is No 1 with a convincing difference ahead of Roger Federer (Switzerland). Andy Murray (Great Britain) moves to position 3 while Novak Djokovic (Serbia) falls to No 4. Juan Martin Del Porto (Argentina) and Andy Roddick (USA) keep their 5th and 6th position. Another change in the Top 10 is the swap pf positions of Gilles Simon (France) who goes to 7 and Fernando Verdasco (Spain) who falls to 8. Two Frenchmen fill the Top 10 - Jo-Wilfred Tsonga and Gael Monfils.
