The points won at the New Caledonia challenger helped Grigor Dimitrov to move 20 positions ahead in the ATP ranking of 11 January 2010. Dimitrov occupies position 268. In the doubles he is at his new best ever position of 313.
Far behind Grigor are the next Bulgarians - Tihomir Grozdanov is No 2 Bulgarian at position 639 followwed by Valentin Dimov - at 656 and Ivaylo Traykov - at 688.
The ranking is led by Roger Federer (Switzerland), Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Novak Djokovic (Serbia). TheArgentinianJuan martin del Potro moves to position 4, ahead of Andy Murray (Great Britain).
