Easy First Round Match for Grigor Dimitrov in Bangkok

Grigor Dimitrov had no difficulties in the first round match of the main draw of the 50'000 USD ATP Challenger tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. The wild card holder Dimitrov defeated the local Peerakit Siributwong within about one hour with a result of 6-0 6-3. Grigor played a perfect first set giving the opponent only 7 points. In the second set Peerakit stopped the winning series of Grigor but he quickly reached to 3-1 to end 6-3. This way the Junior champion of Wimbledon and US Open 2008 Grigor Dimitrov gained 5 ATP points and 860 USD.

In the second round on Wednesday Grigor Dimitrov will face another Thai player Danai Udonchoke, ATP rank 158.

Dimitrov will play also in the doubles tournament in pair with Kittipong Wachiramanowong of Thailand with wild card and will meet the German pair Daniel Brands / Dieter Kindleman.
