After losing the first set 2-6 and winning the tie-break in the second set Grigor Dimitrov succeeded to win the quarterfinal match of the ATP Challenger in Bangkok against the German Sebastian Rieschick with a score of 2-6 7-6(5) 6-3. The match was stopped in the third set when Grigor was leading 4-3 40-0 because of rain in renewed after 1.5 hours. The consecutive wins score of Grigor now in 13. Dimitrov gained 29 ATP ranking points for reaching this stage of the tournament which will move him several positions ahead in the table next Monday.
The semifinal match will replay from previous week's Challenger. Dimitrov will play Go Soeda of Japan, Seed 4. Last week Dimitrov defeated the Japanese player with a result of 6-3 6-7(3) 6-0.
