Grigor Dimitrov defeated the Austrian Martin Fischer, ATP rank 122, in the second round of Open d'Orléans in France with a score of 6-4 7-6(3). In the first set Grigor reached 2-0 after a break and until the end the players were winning their service games to close the set 6-4. In the second set none could break the service game of the other player and the set was decided by tie-break which was won by Dimitrov to 3. Reaching the quarterfinals brought 25 ATP ranking points to Grigor.
