Grigor Dimitrov advanced to the second round of Shanghai Rolex Masters after beating in Denis Istomin in the opening round in straight sets 6-3 6-3. For this win Dimitrov will add 45 ranking points to his balance both in the 52-week ranking and the ranking which determines the contestants for the ATP Tour finals in London.
